The Legend Of Toar And Limimuut

 

(a folktale from north Sulawesi)

There was once a big rock in the middle of the ocean. It was so big that it rose above the surface of the water. Furthermore, it was not an ordinary rock. When the sun shone on it, it perspired and out of this perspiration was born a pretty little girl called Limimuut. The story does not tell in what way she grew up, but certainly she was a wonder-child, living in wonderful circumstances and in a time rich in wonders.The story only tells us that, Then she was grown up, she felt very lonely.

Mappalili In Minasate’ne

According to etimology, Mappalili (Bugis)/Appalili (Makassar) originated from palili word that has meaning to keep the rice plant from something that will disturb or destroy it. Mappalili or Appalili is a hereditary ritual that held by society of South Sulawesi, the society of Pangkep regency especially. Mappalili is a part of culture that already held since some years ago.

SEJARAH PERKEMBANGAN ISLAM PADA ABAD PERTENGAHAN

 

Sejarah perkembangan peradaban Islam dibagi menjadi tiga bagian, yaitu: priode klasik (650 -1250 M), priode pertengahan (1250 – 1800 M) dan priode modern (1800 – sekarang).Yang dimaksud abad pertengahan ialah tahapan sejarah umat Islam yang diawali sejak tahun-tahun terakhir keruntuhan Daulah Abbasiyah (1250 M ) sampai timbulnya benih-benih kebangkitan atau pembaharuan Islam yang diperkirakan terjadi sekitar tahun 1800 M.Priode pertengahan ini juga terbagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu masa kemunduran I (1250 – 1500 M) dan masa tiga kerajaan besar (1500 – 1800 M).

LATAR BELAKANG

Sebelum Republik Indonesia Serikat dinyatakan bubar, pada saat itu terjadi demo besar-besaran menuntut pembuatan suatu Negara Kesatuan. Maka melalui perjanjian antara tiga negara bagian, Negara Republik Indonesia, Negara Indonesia Timur, dan Negara Sumatera Timur dihasilkan perjanjian pembentukan Negara Kesatuan pada tanggal 17 Agustus 1950.

Sejak 17 Agustus 1950, Negara Indonesia diperintah dengan menggunakan Undang-Undang Dasar Sementara Republik Indonesia 1950 yang menganut sistem kabinet parlementer.

Once upon a time, in a small island, stay various abstract object kinds: there is Love, Sadness, Wealth, Beauty and Happiness. They live with every consideration.

But, one day, storm is coming flings and it will drawn the island. They are all in hurry saving their self. Love is so confused because it can’t swim and it does not have any boat. It tries to look for help by standing at the seashore.
